Ombre Hair Extensions

Ombre hair extensions have definitely made their way to our studio this Summer. We have had the opportunity to work with many women who desired that perfect gradual tone from dark to light. The "Ombre" hair color trend came into the scene in 2012 and has been popular since. Jessica Biel and Rachel Bilson were one of the first celebrities to become part of the trend and have made the rest of us craving for that natural yet highlighted look.

However ombre hair color is different with hair extensions. The color must be done prior to getting hair extensions. Then the stylist can match the colored hair to the hair extension swatch and determine what colors are needed. At Tendere Hair, we like to get three exact color matches from the base, mid-shaft and ends. After we apply the perfectly matched hair extensions they blend seamlessly into our clients natural hair. No one can ever tell if our clients are wearing hair extensions due to our fantastic eye for color.

Our clients are also happy to hear that when they go ombre, they no longer need to come in every couple months for highlights. Clients can wait 3 to 5 months before needing a highlight touch up. Its also very easy to add pops of color into ombre hair extensions. Saving the clients hair from unnecessary damage from chemicals and bleach.
